Opportunity card
Focus of the opportunity card
Every opportunity card starts with determining your focus. Whether you are going to create and validate a new concept. Looking for the way to become a frontrunner within your market. Or want to keep up with the developments within the labour market and new generations. It starts with determining your focus and starting points. Here are some examples of your focus for an opportunity card.
Validation and creation
Focus on testing and refining a new product or service before making further investments.
Leadership
Gain insight into how to take a distinctive position in the market and where the real edge can be gained.
The future
A broad, forward-looking exploration of relevant longer-term developments and opportunities.

Challenge
Young people are more likely to be in debt, but exactly how this comes about is unclear. As a national policy, action must be taken quickly to prevent further growth in debt and numbers.
Opportunity Card
Trend strategists have compiled an overview of developments within this group and what triggers there are to take on debt. These include finfluencers who have no evidence of actual success with their methods, pay later providers and their expansion and disappointing wealth.
Results
The result is several tools for national policymakers to address. These insights have been shared with the finance minister and have been used for new policy plans and campaign.
Challenge
Our current offering has been the same for decades and needs a new impetus. To strengthen our market, but also to appeal to new target groups. Where are the opportunities now that will give us this boost?
Opportunity card
We looked for surprising angles and opportunities for all of Europe. Which on the one hand connects to existing offerings, but on the other hand creates entirely new paths to follow and develop. The opportunity card contained the chance for a new label that connects to a brand new way of seeing and working for a desired target group.
Results
A new label in development to take a brand new path that caters to the needs of the 20-30 and 40-55 target group in the short term and has the flexibility to grow with them in the future.
challenge
There are some neighbourhoods in this region where liveability is under pressure. We are exploring how to improve liveability by responding to developments within the target group and the use of new digital tools.
Opportunity card
Our system compiled several developments to reveal the underlying events of the target population. The opportunity card gives an overview of these developments and provides opportunities that are future-proof and allow the various generations in the neighbourhood to participate in their own way.
Results
A mix of digital tools to empower each generation to work with the municipality to improve liveability and turn frustrations into future prospects.
Challenge of the opportunity card
With your focus clearly in mind, we get to work on formulating the issue. A good issue can come from many different angles: what you hear on the shop floor, gut feelings and assumptions, current challenges, long-term ambitions or ideas that have not yet been worked out. We will help you structure those loose elements and determine which issue will deliver the best results. In this way, we arrive together at one concrete, sharp question that forms the basis for your opportunity card and ensures that we can immediately start working on really valuable opportunities. Here are some examples of issues with the elaboration and example.
Developments as a foundation
Once your question is sharp, we dive into the underlying developments, not to draw a quick conclusion, but to gather the right foundations. Developments form the solid framework on which your opportunity card is built. To do this, we combine the power of data and human expertise. From our global database, we extract thousands of reports and market insights, which are filtered, validated and connect via EVE: our proprietary AI algorithm based on predefined criteria. But data alone does not tell the whole story. That's what our trend strategists are for: they bring the human perspective, in-depth analysis and discover the common thread between the numbers and your issue.

The best opportunity
After perusing all relevant developments and possible directions, we as trend strategists choose one opportunity that really stands out for your organisation. We incorporate various ideas and trends in our substantiation, but your Opportunity card will ultimately show only one route: the best opportunity. One direction that does not limit, but rather accelerates. This opportunity has been carefully selected because we are convinced that it fits seamlessly with your organisation and the future ahead of you. Thus, the Opportunity card becomes the key to your next strategic steps: the card you use to play forward in the game of the future.
Using the opportunity card
As soon as the Opportunity card with explanation is delivered to your organisation, you immediately have a powerful strategic tool in your hands. Instead of spending months doing research, you save valuable time and get an immediate head start. The opportunity card offers ready-made insights that you can immediately apply to formulate policy, elaborate a concept or develop a solution.
Behind each opportunity card is the smart linking of hundreds of angles via our AI system EVE. Connecting individual sources creates a solid base of sharp, relevant and forward-looking opportunities. This allows you to see at a glance which developments are in play and which hidden opportunities you would otherwise miss. This allows you to confidently formulate a well-founded, future-oriented strategy.
